"Amazing hotel, Françoise was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The hotel is set within lovely grounds, which we were able to enjoy whilst we had our morning breakfast. The room was clean, warm and welcoming with everything we needed. Françoise even went to the extent of giving us restaurant recommendations. We would definitely recommend a stay here."

"Francoise, our host, was very accommodating about our need to leave early and produced a decent breakfast in the circumstances. Also the property had an EV charger for our car which was really convenient. This is new and should be mentioned on the website as it was a very pleasant surprise for us. Also the local restaurant (Poul et Boul) recommended by Francoise proved to be just right for our needs."
"The unfortunate temporary circumstance of a housing development under construction across the road which rather compromised our view."
"Lovely old house with lots of character. It was also 5 minutes walk to the centre of Chimay with ample parking."
"Full of character and very clean."
"The rooms were large with a big bathroom, well stocked mini bar with wine, beer and soft drinks. Also had tea and coffee making facilities. Good place to park motorcycles round the back. Good location a short walk from the centre of Chimay. Property also has a large garden. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice."
"Could have used their garage in other building for secure parking for motorcycles, if possible."
"Location close to restaurants. Secure motorcycle parking in garage. Beautiful decor. Local beer selection in room."

"It is a very nice old house with interesting local history ( a family of doctors lived there a hundred years ago). The reception at night was easy with a code. Very comfortable bed. An excellent breakfast in the morning. Easy and safe parking and proximity to some nice restaurants."

"The property, grounds and location are fantastic. The feeling of being remote, but not so remote that makes it a chore. A beautiful conversion of the barns and set in stunning grounds and an instant feeling of relaxation. Well appointed, nicely finished and homely."
