"Beautiful camping site with lots of trees that provide shade during the day, lovely little pool to keep cool and very good facilities. I especially enjoyed the outside showers, it was a nice experience."

He welcomes you with open arms and helps with absolutely everything at any time. The apartment is really charming and you feel at home immediately when you step in. The room is very spacious and the bed so comfy. Kitchen and bathroom are fully clean and equipped with everything. I am recommending this place so very much! Thank you Josias for making my stay in Santo Domingo unforgettable."

"We had an amazing stay in this place. Everything was clean and new. Saff was really nice and helpful. The location is 30-40 minutes from Port Barton which is still close and it is so quiet there, brach is almost empty. Just when you want to use a grill, tell it to the staff a day in advance in case they dont have a charcoal. Would definitely recommend."

Like all rural places barking dogs can be annoying, if light sleeper get earplugs..

Be aware that the toilets and showers are in a separate block.

"Kind host, willing to help us with anything, large tasty breakfast, clean bathrooms, comfotable tent for sleeping with good isolation (even though it was winter, in tent there was still quite good temperature), nice calm location outside of the main load of tourists, but still close enough to enjoy dunes and everything from Merzouga"

It takes 20 minutes walking to city (still it is better than other tents which are located in sand dunes)

"Останах много очарован от мястото и най-вече от хостът ,който направи всичко възможно за един прекрасен престой.Добра локация на 25 минути пеша от летището и на толкова от центъра на Оранйещад.С колело е на по малко от 10 минути.Велоалеята до Орловия плаж и Летището също е до локацията.Автобусите за Синт Николас /Оранйещад спират също.Има голям супермаркет на 1 минута пеша.Нямам някакви забележки."

"Fantastic experience! The camp is located in the desert (15 min drive through the dunes) and can only be reached with a 4x4 or pick-up by the camp staff which needs to be arranged beforehand. It really feels like staying in the middle of the desert with no other camp to be seen. The tents are quite big and nicely decorated, each with a private outdoor bathroom connected to the tent. In the evening at 8pm there is a buffet dinner with a bonfire afterwards. Highly recommend!"

The cottage was not super clean upon arrival, overly expensive optional 'add ons' (sheets/cleaning fee/equipment rental).

"We had a lovely stay! The pool was absolutely wonderful and the staff were really friendly. The food from the restaurant was some of the best we had in Guatemala! The gardens were gorgeous and had some stunning birds in the trees! The room was really beautiful and the shower was powerful."

A mosquito net over the bed would’ve been good.

Windows are impossible to open. It was a warm summer day, no air conditioning, so it was very warm to sleep.

"Friendly staff, beautiful location, very cozy and comfortable. Was perfect to come back and wind down after a busy day. We loved our tent (large bed with bathroom), definitely did not feel like you were camping. The pool was a great touch as well."

A bit far out of town. 35 minute walk or 6 minute taxi. A small price to pay for such a beautiful location
