"I really enjoyed staying at Camping La Y Griega, in Bocas del Toro. For me, the location is perfect because it is a bit further away from town (which can be very noisy), making the atmosphere much calmer and more peaceful. In addition, the two buses that go to the main destinations on the island stop right in front: to Playa Bluff or towards Bahía Dragón and Playa Estrella. Taxis to town cost 1 dollar. There are affordable options for both rooms and tents. The tents are set up on wooden platforms in a very cozy space with hammocks and sofas. The place is well maintained, with a beautiful garden and a fully equipped kitchen. Howler monkeys pass by very often, and you can also see hummingbirds, which makes the atmosphere even more special. The owner, Johny, is very attentive and friendly, and the volunteers are also very kind and helpful. If I return to Bocas del Toro, I will definitely stay there again. I highly recommend it."

Vielen Dank auch für deine freundliche Art und die unkomplizierte Kommunikation – das hat den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht. "It was unique and the location perfect as we had stopped off in the city of Masaru on the way. We had excellent communication with the host who organised an upgrade as we were two women travelling together and asked for the possibility of twin beds. Mark organised a full day out on his horses with his guide Motobang which was excellent and included lunch. All food was prepared by him and was delicious and plenty."

"It is very good value for money. Accomodation is basic, but it is clean and comfortable enough. Our balcony was looking to the sea. The place was quiet after 21.00, we could rest very well. Breakfast very delicious and healthy."

"We made use of the campsite. The food was amazing and we were very happy to make use of the outdoor shower and having our hiking clothes washed. Back on the trail feeling refreshed! The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. Would definitely recommend this place!"

The train every half an hour on 2 meters from our windows. The fence is not so high (safety?!). Also the busy road between the camping and the beach is dangerous. Lots of kids crossing that road. A tunnel would be solution.

"Останах много очарован от мястото и най-вече от хостът ,който направи всичко възможно за един прекрасен престой.Добра локация на 25 минути пеша от летището и на толкова от центъра на Оранйещад.С колело е на по малко от 10 минути.Велоалеята до Орловия плаж и Летището също е до локацията.Автобусите за Синт Николас /Оранйещад спират също.Има голям супермаркет на 1 минута пеша.Нямам някакви забележки."
