"Emilien and Pauline were wonderful kind hosts! They spent the whole day cycling with us and showing us the lagoon and local areas. They also helped us with recommendations each day, and for our onward journey around Senegal. They went above and beyond as hosts, they deserve 6 stars! ⭐ The space is fantastic - wonderful pool, huge terrace, restaurant and we loved the table football. The food at the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast was delicious. It was a great space to relax and was very quiet away from the tourist areas."

Not a problem as this was perfect for us, but just be aware that the lodge is very remote.

"Pape, the concierge was a genuine, nice and helpful. House was clean, all necessary and good facilities. Swimming pool was enjoyed by the kids, was in the shade so no worries about sunburn! Great location, peaceful and close to beach."

"The staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The location right on the edge of the beach was amazing. Breakfast was lovely and you can eat it under the palm trees. The room was cool and the bed comfortable. The area is quiet unless they're playing their drums and dancing which is a very atmospheric and exciting thing to watch or take part in in the early evening. This is not a luxury hotel but a place to see some of the real Senegal. We'd definitely stay again."

The food and drink service was very slow. This could be improved upon. At least drinks should be provided fairly quickly. Waiting 15 to 20 minutes is too long. Otherwise, we were happy with everything.
