"Alessandro and Kamille are incredible hosts, kind and very knowledgeable about the area. The home is a short walk to all amenities, beaches and beautiful walks. The property is gorgeous with a beautiful natural pool, an oasis. Kamille and Alessandro make you feel so welcome. I definitely recommend staying here."

"I loved the garden and the natural pool. This is great for a short-term stay as there is not kitchen. They do have a fridge and coffee/tea amenities. The room was very lit and the beautifully decorated. The bathroom is spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed was comfy and the room temp was fresh."

"Casa Picaflor was like a home away from home. Ale and Kamille have made this place into a little slice of natural paradise. The room is beautiful with a nice little hammock for chilling, plus a coffee table for morning breakfasts which are 10 USD and lovingly prepared. As many have said the place is so nice you almost don't want to leave, but exploring Las Terrenas. Ale and Kamille made us feel super at home, we had some great chats, hung out with them and their friends on New Year's Eve and went to the same party with them. It was a wonderful wonderful stay. Oh and the natural pool is soooo good. Swim every day."

"I reccomend this stay in Las Terrenas! The room is very big and clean, located in a nice quiet garden but very very close to the city center and the beach. The hosts are very kind and helpful, we had a couple of small issues but communication was great and they solved them right away! :) They even offered us a welcome drink and gave us some nice suggestions about places to eat in Las Terrenas and some tips on our upcoming trip!"

The hosts are incredibly kind and helpful, and the atmosphere they create in their home is fantastic. A cozy pool, delicious breakfasts, very clean and beautiful. "De camino desde Santiago a Las Terrenas elegimos este hotel para alojarnos una noche y no tener que hacer el viaje de una sola vez. Nos llevamos una gran sorpresa al entrar en este precioso resort completamente nuevo. Y qué maravillosa acogida y atención por parte y del personal de los dos propietarios que viven en una casa de estilo escandinavo en el propio terreno. Un apartamento grande y hermoso, una bonita piscina con bar y un precioso y romántico jardín, creado en lo que antiguamente fue una plantación de cacao. Las Tarranas es un pueblo verdaderamente típico dominicano en el campo, donde el tiempo parece haberse detenido en el siglo pasado: tranquilo, sencillo y encantador. Es increíble que este pequeño pueblo tenga una joya tan nueva como este apartotel. El restaurante del resort ofrece una carta muy sabrosa y con precios razonables. Nos quedamos una noche más de lo previsto y sin duda volveremos. Todo simplemente TOP."
