The location was excellent — situated in a quiet area, yet within walking distance to everything you might need, including shops, restaurants, and transport. "Spacious, clean and well-equipped apartment which was tastefully decorated and comfortable. Although it was only one large room and a bathroom, the layout was such that it felt as if there were separate rooms. Previous storm damage to the trees meant we were not able to make full use of the garden but we still managed to sit outside using the small dining table and deckchairs provided. We shared the garden with the cat and the chickens so we were asked to keep our dog on a lead in the grounds ;) ! The entrance and parking for the property was private and it was secure behind gates. It was a very quiet and peaceful area. There were local walks around the small hamlet but it was also close to some interesting places such as Senonches, pretty towns along the river Eure and of course Chartres, which was worth a visit. The owners were very welcoming and friendly and seemed genuinely keen for you to have a pleasant stay."
