"Dommage lave vaiselle qui fonctionne pas et manque juste une petite machine à laver mais je pense , pas assez d'espace. Et un peu petit quand meme mais bien."

"We stayed at Leira at the beginning and end of our trip, arriving late on the first occasion and leaving early on the morning of our second visit. On both occasions, Ariel was a very kind and welcoming hostess who was happy to converse, despite my less than perfect French! The room was homely with a private bathroom and toilet and the bed was very comfortable. It was also useful to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Ariel provided a fabulous breakfast including homemade jams and banana bread and the setting overlooking the garden was beautiful. On our second stay, when we had to leave early, Ariel supplied us with a packed breakfast to take with us which was very thoughtful and much appreciated. The location is close to Caen and the coast and was also very convenient for the Caen-Portsmouth ferry."

"We had such a lovely week here! The bedrooms are set up brilliantly for a family and, in the bunk bed room, the mini kitchen and cuddly toys made our 3 year old jump for joy! It was great to have two toilets and shower rooms on the bedroom floor. Our only negative regarding the facilities is regarding the showers - only one of the showers was really fit for use. The other two had to be hand-held which was a shame. The beds were comfy and the terrace attached to the bunk bed room was a sun trap and great for reading a book with a beer! The downstairs living area was brilliant. Big table and a comfy, snuggly sitting area with big TV was just what we needed after a long day on the mountain. The kitchen had fantastic utilities and everything felt like it was high quality and convenient. Also a lovely surprise that the owners had left us a bottle of Prosecco! We really had a great time and were sad to come home!"
