"We only stayed one night but it was a very relaxing evening and super value for money. This accommodation is one wing of the host's large house. It was a very big size and well-equipped. The upstairs was particularly impressive, with three beautiful and spacious bedrooms to choose from. Would have no hesitation in recommending a stay here if you are passing through the area. "We had a perfect stay at La belle Charentaise! Plenty of room, comfortable beds, secure driveway and the whole space around the house, very quiet location. The hosts were very accommodating, kind and went over and beyond to make sure we had a great time! I cannot thank them enough for helping us to locate our spare car keys, which we left somewhere within the property and only realised hundreds of miles away - they were so kind and sent them to us - I will never forget that! THANK YOU!"

"We enjoyed the peace and tranquility and were able to explore the area, visiting Cognac and Angeloume nearby. The roads were a joy to drive with fields of sunflowers, vineyards and wheat all around. Self catering was perfect and really nice to eat outside in the shade or sit and read."

"The little bungalow is very well organized and well equipped. South facing, it is perfect for evening sunsets after a day exploring the region. 15 mins from Sancerre, 30-50 mins from other beautiful spots and vineyards in the region. Valerie is a great host, highly recommend staying here. Perfect location if you have an event at the Chateau Beaujeu and want your privacy, it is literally 5 mins away."

"We had a great 8-night stay in Chalet L Altizoard. The house is super cozy yet very modern. It is excellently equipped. All furniture and appliances are new, the sauna and jacuzzi are top, the beds are very comfortable and the views of the mountain and the city are awesome. Caroline is an excellent host and it is obvious she has put a lot of effort in making sure her house is the perfect holiday home."

"We loved this beautiful bright apartment on a quiet street just a few streets back from the busy harbour. It felt great to be so close to everything and yet have a quiet bolthole to relax. The roof terrace was very much appreciated and was especially lovely in the evening, with a view of the chateau and the landscape around the town. The swifts put on some great flying displays over the terrace!"
