"Myself and my dog stayed here after completing the GR from Hendaye. It was such a brilliant place to to end our trip, the building is in a fantastic place, the interior is wonderful and quirky but it also has everything that you need... It is a really well thought out place! I would highly recommend this place to anyone going to Banyuls! Thanks again 🙏"

"The location is excellent. Centrally located and very close to the main beach, bars and restaurants.The hotel has a lot of charm, is cosy and the rooms were very clean. The breakfast was plentiful and of good quality and the room that it is served in is very poetic and sweet. It is also has a restaurant at night but we didn't eat there but it seemed very popular with locals and tourists. There is a place to store your bags if you come early or after check out, which was appreciated. The people managing the place are very hardworking. Overall very authentic feel."

"The HEAT!! The ceiling fan was not effective and a bit noisy. It was during the heatwave and it was impossible to sleep. The lady at check out said we should have said something sooner to restart the fan or check if it was broken. In general I find ceiling fans less useful. There were standing fans in the common area which were much better..they could consider having these available in heatwaves. It's an old building with a lot of charm so maybe it is impossible to install AC."

"I knew that that there would be no air conditioning, but they should really get an A/C. The temperature in July in the room was very high even during the night, so it was hard to sleep even though i live in southern france without A/C normally. The hotel rooms in second floor accumulate heat and don’t cool down well."

"The hotel is funky and great value. The rooms are very cool in a weird old building. We had an incredibly delicious meal in the restaurant for dinner. The location is very convenient. We arrived by bike and were able to store our bikes inside overnight. We liked it so much we stayed an extra night"
