"The room was quite large and the bathroom good as well. We stayed in the Ochre room which had windows on two sides so there was a view from both, albeit not overly inspiring. The shower was good with plenty of hot water and the bed was delightfully comfortable."

"One of the reasons we chose this place was because of the bar and “canteen”. I had hoped to spend my last couple of nights holiday being able to have a quick meal in a “ locals” bar restaurant where I could have a few beers without having to worry about driving. Sadly the bar and restaurant were closed for building work so that was denied. I called Booking.com to ask advice and never got a reply. I think we should have been advised of the lack of facilities as it was planned work, not emergency work. Breakfast was basic and could have done with a little more. Having said that, I don’t want to condemn the place as it is run by two sisters who are trying to make a go of it. It is convenient for Caen and we will certainly give it another go as, once the kitchen is up and running, I am sure it will be fine."

"Traffic noise during morning, day and evening times. Night time was quiet. Make sure you have a room that is not facing the N-road passing by the hotel. The breakfast could be enriched."
