"We booked the whole house for a family holiday. Jean-Pierre and Eloy are wonderful hosts and very friendly. The rooms are spacious and renovated to a high standard. The house is perfectly situated for exploring the Dordogne, with a short journey to lots of key attractions. A wonderful stay!"

"The house is beautiful. Everything was very clean. Towels and bath robes supplied. Fans and an air conditioning unit as well (the weather was very hot). The pool was lovely and cleaned daily. The owner lives next door and was exceptionally helpful. He did some washing for us and helped us locate a wallet we had lost in a different part of France."

"Just one small point. A bit more kitchen equipment would have been helpful. The knives were not very good."

"We rented the entire house at La Source and it was so beautiful and peaceful. The bedrooms each have an en-suite and are very luxurious. The kitchen is beautiful and has everything you might need. Outdoors there were many options for places to sit and the children loved the pool. The hosts were very welcoming and available if needed but the space was also very private. I hope we can come again!"

The Source was a tranquil haven in a beautiful area of France with great facilities to allow us to relax by the pool after a hot day of sightseeing. "This lovely B&B is in a very tranquil location, very close to the beautiful villages of the Dordogne. It has a very nice pool area with a view of the surrounding hills and a beautiful garden. The rooms are decorated with taste and ours opened up to a cosy communal living room. Breakfast is very good! These gentlemen are obviously very proud of what they have accomplished here and rightly so! The price-quality of our stay was ridiculously good."

"Nothing really, the beds are good but the matresses are quite firm - whether or not you will find that a plus or minus is and will always be a matter of personal preference."
