"It's the second time we stayed at l'Etage. The location (10min walk to the train station and slightly further to the center) was perfect for us. This studio has everything you need for a short stay (+ many classic books in French, also for children) and is just fine for 4 people. The contact with the owner is reliable and kind, there were tourist maps and information about cultural activities in Rennes available in the appartment which we apprecieted and used. The price is friendly, compared to other places at similiar location in Rennes."

"Cute apartment, conveniently situated, next to the station and close to the city centre as well. Great bed! Clean and quiet. Communication with the owner is excellent as well. Entrance to the house is a bit creepy if you arrive at night. Make sure that the torch of your mobile works. But, it's fun from an adventurous point of view. 😁"

"Location is near Gare de Rennes. Property facilities meet our needs for 2-night stay."
"The wood floor is old, causing a lot of noise when we walk, especially at night. The property host does'nt show much willingness to help us if we have problem to access our apartment, but fortunately that didn't happen."

"Considering the state of the building and the corridor, which was creepy, the flat was nice, kind of shabby-chic, it reminded me of university times. Quite clean, good bed, good shower and very quiet. Value for money."
"Arriving in the dark, it was really creepy. I used the light of my mobile to find the place. If I had not seen the street view on Google Maps I would never have expected a "hotel" to be there. Actually it was rather Airbnb than booking. com. But instructions as to getting inside, which were sent to me, were very good."

"Location, facilities, decoration, food and owners were excelent. The house is old and you can feel its beautiful soul and history. The lovely furniture and decorations and the warm welcome of the owners make it feel like home. The property is located next to Strasbourg, Colmar and other beautiful villages in Alsace. We visited in the winter but I can only imagine the green and the sun in the spring. My family loved it also and we are planning for another visit. I can only say good things about this “Nest”. :) I would also recommend reading the little book in the room which tells the story of the house and owners and also gives visiting recommendations in the area. Even though our French is minimum, the owners were kind enough to accommodate it without making us feel bad about it.:)"

"Where do we start? It is simply wonderful, from the moment we arrived we felt so welcome, they are perfect hosts. The property is magnificent, set in a peaceful village, surrounded by beautiful countryside.The room was beautiful and the bathroom was lovely. Everything is tastefully decorated and fitted out. Breakfast was lovely every day. Plenty of parking space. It was a straightforward drive from here to Versailles. Another day, a short drive to Montfort station, loads of parking and then four stops into Montparnasse station. We will definitely visit again when we return to Paris."
