"Very lovely owner, the location is fantastic - right in the center - breakfast was good, the rooms are clean and beautiful and everything is newly renovated. Very good value for money. Would definitely book again."
Christina Hôtel Henri IV
"Although no cooked breakfast items on offer there was plenty to eat from the buffet and everything was fresh and replenished regularly. At €9 each , no compaints . Free parking close by and indeed throughout the town in general. Hosts were very welcoming . Lovely seaside based decor throughout."
"Restaurant excellent. Lovely garden and pool. Parking on site. Owners friendly and helpful."
"It is a good place to stop over when you are travelling. Very clean and fresh bedsheets and towels. Very comfortable beds. We rested very well. We had a quiet night. Food ok, but not great (although pizzas were quite tasty). But at least there is a possibility to eat in the evening (we were there on a weekday). Good breakfast - not just all sweet, there were some savory foods (cheese, egg) plus youghurt. Staff very nice."
"The room was big, comfy and tastefully decorated, the location was right at the Cathedral and very close the the old part of the city with excellent bars and restaurants nearby."
Charlie Hôtel Mercure Rodez Cathédrale
"Excellent location 5 minutes walk to Roanne centre, and only 50 meters from Le Central bistro (of Troisgros fame). Very large room by modern hotel standards. Lift access to upper floors. Helpful staff. Great breakfast for the price."

A lovely little park by the hotel, excellent boulangerie opposite for breakfast and treats, supermarket and restaurants close by. Useful kitchenette for preparing snacks, light meal. Very quiet area."
