"Cosy, compact, central location. A little over furnished and to get there you have to ignore the authorised vehicles only signs in the area, good luck with that ;)"

"The location was amazing, right in the heart of Strasbourg close to all the markets but very quiet street so the market sounds weren't a bother at all, apartment was very clean and comfortable also."

"Fantastic location. It was very close to all the sights and several restaurants, but on a side street that felt very quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. Just steps from the river. Cute, snug and cozy flat. Easy instructions for front door entry and key retrieval. The apartment had lots of charm with low beams and creaking wooden floors. Comfy bed. I used Uber to and from the train station with luggage which was convenient. Would definitely stay here again."

"Writers is in a fantastic central location, just a few metres from the river, city centre, cathedral, museums and other places of interest. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The flat is comfortable, well equipped and charmingly appointed."

"Die sehr gute Lage- nah dem Münster, nah dem Fluß- alles ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Und trotzdem ist es sehr ruhig- im einem Innenhof gelegen. Die Wohnungsgestaltung gefiel uns auch sehr gut ."

"Ich hätte etwas mehr Küchenausstattung gewünscht- ein Topf für zum Beispiel Nudeln wäre ganz gut aus meiner Sicht. Ansonsten alles da - klein aber fein!"

"A beautiful and very charming home, with the hosts Catherine and Denis who truly go above and beyond for their guests. We felt warmly welcomed, almost as if we were visiting friends. During our stay, we also had the pleasure of meeting the animals including two very sweet dogs , the llama, alpaca and sheep, which added a unique and delightful touch to the experience. The room was lovely. It was both comfortable and full of character with nice details like the fresh flowers. Thank you for such a warm and generous welcome."

"What a lovely cottage by the river. Iulia and Alastair have spent time to make such a lovely property and wonderful experience. They have thought of everything from an amazing bathroom with relaxing standalone bath, a cozy lounge with log burner to well stocked kitchen. The cottage is wonderfully eclectic with bedrooms on different levels that just add to the attraction. Iulia and Alastair were lovely hosts on site - they introduced us to their really friendly dog, Filou and a donkey, Rio (hand reared and incredibly friendly). We managed to go skiing at Cauterets which was great and reasonably close. We day tripped to the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao which is worth the trip. Maison de la Riviere is well positioned for peace & tranquility on site with accessibility for the mountains and the sea....and we ate on the terrace in the sunshine (in February!). Huge thank you to Iulia and Alastair."

"The house is really beautiful, great kitchen. The internet works exceptionally well. Pretty much looks exactly like in the photos. Communicating with the hosts was a bliss. The location is quite remote, if you like that, it's an amazing stay to get away from busy life. If you have an electric vehicle, you can charge the battery in the garage, which is great as the closest public charger in the area is about 30 - 40 minutes away."
