"Clean, cosy & warm common area. Relaxed atmosphere. Free coffee, tea, cereals and müsli provided. Reasonably priced meals in the Seamen's Home restaurant (at the hotel where the reception is)."

"Da der ingen andre gæster var fik jeg hele huset for mig selv. Utrolig god værdi for pengene. Alt hvad man skulle bruge var der heraf hurtigt wifi og pebernødder og madprodukter til overs man måtte tage af. Jeg havde valgt Hope Hostel fordi det var den billige mulighed mellem Hope Hostel og Hotel Søma, men det føltes som den dyre valgmulighed. Hotel Søma gav mig i øvrigt gratis transport til lufthavnen dagen efter. Hvis jeg skal overnatte i Aasiaat en anden gang vil jeg se frem til at overnatte på Hope Hostel igen!"
"På min ene dyne var der en stor gul plet. Det var ulækkert. Den burde være vasket eller smidt ud hvis ikke dette var muligt at få af. Jeg tog betræk på og levede med det. Brusehovedet i badet faldt af da jeg tog bad."

"Centraal gelegen in Asiaat, alle voorzieningen op loopafstand: haven, winkels, museum en hikes. Klein stukje heuvel oplopen. Tweepersoons kamer is prima voor solo reiziger. Met grote woonkamer, goed uitgeruste keuken, twee badkamers. In bijkeuken staan wasmachine en droger en kan was opgehangen worden. In Søma Hotel op 2 minuten lopen fijn cafetaria met gratis koffie en met prima ‘maaltijd van de dag’ voor ongeveer €10 (17.30-19u) - kun je niet zelf voor koken :-). Ook bagage kan er tijdelijk achtergelaten worden."
"Met twee personen op de kamer zou bagage er niet bij passen, maar kan makkelijk in de woonkamer geplaatst worden."
"il s'agit d'un "hostel ", c'est à dire des chambres avec salle de bain commune , d'une salle de séjour commune ,avec de petites chambres , amplement suffisantes . WIFI gratuit , restaurants , cafétéria pas loin ( à l'hotel SOMA ) café restaurant un peu plus loin ( café 3 sur Sissaqqoriak ) cuisine bien équipée bon rapport qualité prix , vue la haute saison"

"We stayed here in September after walking the Arctic circle trail. We were faster than expected, so we contacted the owner as soon as we arrived in town. He immediatly told us we could stay at the house and came to pick us up in 10min to bring us there. It is a bedroom in his home and he immediately made us feel very welcome. We had space in the fridge, the entire kitchen available and we were allowed to use the washing machine to clean all our stuff. The WiFi was also excellent. The host was very friendly and taught us lots about Greenland, Inuit culture and history and the surrounding area. He also offered to take us on a boat trip to the ghost village (at a much better rate than any other provider). All in all a great place to stay!"

"Sehr nette Gastgeberin, Lage im alten Hafenindustrieviertel ist ok und in nur 10 Minuten ist man am Hafen bzw. in 15 Minuten zu Fuß im Zentrum von Nuuk. Auch wenn um einen rum ein Industrieviertel ist, ist es relativ ruhig. Die Unterkunft ist in der oberen etage untergebracht, daher erreichbarkeit über Treppen. Sehr sauber, kleine Einheit mit 3 Zimmern. Wir waren voll zufrieden und der Preis ist für Nuuk völlig in Ordnung. Wir konnten früher einchecken und beim Checkout unser Gepäck bis zum Abend im Waschraum unterbringen."

"The apartment is fantastic. It is in the very Nuuk centre. I am a photographer and there was no need to go far away from the house to take great pictures, either at daytime or at night. Unfortunately, northern light was not available during my stay. There was everything in the kitchen."
