"Ismal and his family are super kind and gentle people, always ready to help and provide informations. The accomodation is simple but spacious and clean, free amazing coffee, and here you'll have the feeling to be in a real homestay in a real guatemala village to base yourself for Tikal, instead of being in the Flores tourist bubble."

"The room and bathroom are clean and generously sized. The owners are incredibly warm and hospitable - they even went the extra mile to boil some water for us in their own kitchen when we needed it. The room is equipped with air conditioning, a toaster, and a coffee maker with a filter. It has its own separate entrance, which allowed us to come and go freely. We highly recommend this accommodation. Right across the street, there is a volunteer house that is spearheading some really exciting community development projects with the El Remate locals, especially the children."

"The room is a bit further from the lake compared to other hostels in town, but this allowed us to explore a different part of the village and get a real taste of everyday life in El Remate."

"We were greeted on arrival and the apartment was welcoming and secure. There is an ATM in the lobby (which was helpful for cash payment) and lifts to the 6th floor. It was really nice to be able to wash our clothes, boil a kettle and relax as if we were at home. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast in a great restaurant just a few metres away."

Il suffit de se garer au balneario et de marcher 2 km sur un chemin de randonnée magnifique pour atteindre le village. Pour le retour, prenez le tubing et en 30 minutes, à travers le plus beau canyon d Amérique centrale, vous êtes de retour. La cuisine familiale est exquise, que ce soit ai dîner ou petit déjeuner.
