"This was a nicely designed hotel, with spacious rooms. Conveniently located for Yala safari pickups. There was even a peacock to greet us every morning outside our balcony!"

Though the room was mostly clean, there were some stains on our sheets. The friendly staff quickly rectified this. When we had to leave early for our safari, there was no staff available on site to unlock the gate and we had to do a real life jailbreak from the hotel! Also the water is reliant on solar so you may have to have a cold shower on a cloudy/rainy day.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, and the bed was very comfortable — we slept really well. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and quiet, perfect for a short getaway. "Wangdue Eco Lodge is a lovely place tucked high above the Dzong, with amazing views from the room that really make the stay special. The staff were very kind and helpful throughout. Dinner and breakfast were simple but perfectly adequate. The rooms are very spacious, though they could benefit from a few extra touches to make them feel cosier, as they felt a little empty. Overall, a pleasant stay with beautiful views and a peaceful setting."

I was not provided with a tea kettle or a hair dryer, as listed in the room description. Also, you can hear people walking to their rooms and staff talking while cleaning.

El desayuno es muy tarde. Entiendo que debería ser más temprano. Ya que a las 9 es muy tarde y no hay nada cerca para desayunar.

"Very friendly and helpful hosts, as well as all the staff members. Big and nice bedroom with a little balcony. This one doesn't offer the best view, but the terrace even more - an absolutely stunning view. The breakfast is good as well as the dinner. You can walk upon a little rock and enjoy sunrise or sundown with a cool drink and a breathtaking view. The lodge is a nice option for the beginning or the end of a Namibia trip because it's located not far away from the airport and only little more than one hour drive from the city of Windhoek."

Lot of stairs to bring down the luggage and carry it back. The train track adjoining the hotel is very annoying and extremely noisy when the train passes through.
