"Wonderful, peaceful setting. A perfect getaway in a lovely location with kind owners. We loved that it felt so private, but was only a few minutes drive into town for groceries etc."

"Situation idyllique dans une zone naturelle protégée. Cadre très calme, parfait pour se ressourcer en famille. Accès baignade et tennis à pied. Hôte très sympathique et avenante. L' intérieur du logement est très fonctionnel et la cuisine bien équipée."

"Het was een mooi authentiek huisje waarin je je snel thuis voelt. Een openbaar met turf ernaast voor dat echte Ierse gevoel. Mooi gelegen in de natuur vlakbij een prachtig meer. Een mooie uitvalsbasis waar je het best een weekje uit kan houden."

"Een van de toiletten was defect. Dat is gemeld. over het algemeen kan het huisje wel wat onderhoud gebruiken."

"Cudowne miejsce do obcowania z przyrodą. Piękne jezioro, dostępność łodzi. Raj dla wędkarzy. Domek bardzo wygodny, bardzo dobrze wyposażony, wygodny, czysty. Przygotowany tradycyjnie i z sercem. Bardzo gościnni i mili właściciele Helen i David. Dziękujemy bardzo."

"Beautiful setting. Great views of sea and mountains. House was different, lots of wood, clean, spacious sitting room upstairs and kitchen with beautiful views of the sea. Bedrooms all big double beds upstairs on suite a lovely surprise. Lovely horses opposite brightened up the little ones day."

"A very comfortable home in a peaceful and beautiful setting. The house is equipped with everything you will need and the owners are very welcoming and helpful. We had a lovely meal in the pub up the road and some lovely walks on the nearby beach. We would have loved to stay longer."

"The house was big enough to facilitate 3 generations comfortably. Allowing each to have their own space. It was positioned close to the beach and lake. A restaurant was walking distance and another provided a complimentary taxi bus to and from the restaurant. The food was excellent specialising in seafood which is a hot favourite with us all. The weather wasn't the best but the sun room made you forget due to it's brightness. The owner was extremely helpful and informative of the local sights, shops, doctors, vets ( the house is dog friendly), and garage."

"Beautiful accommodation. My cousin and I both loved our stay here. The room was very neat and quiet (you can't hear the other guests), the shower was super hot and Kathleen (the owner) was so nice to chat to. Best of all there was a guest only kitchen so we could make our own breakfast and dinner (this was a rare find in Ireland). We use this as a base to hike diamond Hill. Would definitely recommend staying here."

"It was a most unique quirky property in an excellent central location for exploring the area. The kitchen sitting area was the former pub but beautifully adapted providing everything you need whilst retaining many of the original features. The apartment is spotlessly clean and comfortable with good quality bed linen and towels provided. Marie is a delightful lady who lives next door who has excellent knowledge and recommendations for things to do and see. Parking is behind the property and also a very pretty garden . We had a most enjoyable week staying at Herlihy’s and would highly recommend."
