"Our stay at this hotel was truly wonderful. The room was clean, well-organized, and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The food was delicious and fresh, with a great variety of options to choose from. A special thank you to the owner, who welcomed us warmly and made sure we felt at home throughout our stay. "If you're visiting Malta this is an excellent place to stay. Sliema itself is a bustling harbour town with plenty bars, cafes, shops within ten minutes walk of hotel. Also within ten minutes walk is the harbour where you can book boat trips to Gozo and blue lagoon, and get a ferry to Valetta which takes ten minutes in itself (or around 8 euros in a Bolt) if you book a boat trip through Viator make sure this pickup point in Sliema is your closest one on Google maps. It'll be much more convenient. Facilities basic but clean and comfortable. Free bottled water at reception and coffee machine at reception. Some toilets aren't in the bedrooms but are very close and robes etc are provided. Would recommend."

Only thing is the busy road lots of noisy bikes so take some silicone ear plugs for at night if you're a sensitive sleeper. Although I slept okay most nights, and this will affect most hotels in the area.

"Large, clean and modern room with a hairdryer and enough plugs. Parking available. Nice breakfast with home-made yogurt and jams. Internet was satisfactory. The dinner at a (somewhat high) price of 30 Euro per person was good. Good service overall. The owner, Mr. Desprairies, is very professional."

Though we did like the breakfast, we saw that eggs are offered for an extra charge. In most hotels this is standard, so I would recommend to just include them in breakfast. Also, the coffee was so so.

"Our booking was made very late and despite this we were so warmly welcomed. There was beautiful Cape Verdean music being played when we arrived by two incredible musicians which was lovely. And the breakfast in the morning was delicious. The fresh mango juice was particularly mouthwatering!"

"We wanted to try the glass igloos. Great experience because you can see the lake, even if it's covered in snow. There's a Zoo and Activity Park nearby, so we had plenty to do both days."

The main disadvantage of this accommodation is that you do not have a bathroom, only the toilet is shared, where there is a sink. The organic toilet in the igloo, I did not understand how an adult is supposed to fit in there. The breakfast has a very basic menu. I was also sorry that before ten o'clock they really warned us in the restaurant that it closes at ten, although of course I understand that.

"We love the complete breakfast the BnB had and every morning it was a complete meal. The host ensured we were settled in well. As for the location, it is very much aligned to places where we visited at the area. Ubers and Bolt should not have any problem finding the place by the roadside. My wife loved the book collection at their personal library so a good writer's retreat too."

We were content with the place. Everything was in working order right to the room, amenities at our convenience. So no complaints.

"We always enjoy coming back to this hotel. This was already our third stay and definitely not the last. Every time we arrive, we feel a bit like at home. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food is absolutely delicious. You can truly feel the history of this place, which makes the stay even more special. A wonderful hotel we are always happy to return to. 😊"

As in a lot of places the wifi sometimes doesn't work but that is not specifically for this place though. I blame Africell 😊

"Bayzid was a great manager and looked after us very well. The accommodation was spotless and there was a choose of three delicious breakfasts. The balcony and lounge provided outdoor space. We were 1 minute from the beach."

"The host was adorable, very helpful and warm. The bed was comfortable, the area was very cute and peaceful. The dining room was cosy and well decorated. Last but not least, the breakfast was varied and delicious, with fresh croissants!"

The shared bathroom could use a renovation (very basic shower with a shower head up on the wall) and the windows in the room were old and should be changed for better isolation. Also, you absolutely need a car as it's a bit far from the bus stop.
