"Very helpful staff, very restful place, just what I needed. The wildlife i saw from the balcony was amazing and Hunter and Tina, the dogs, were my guardians."

"Clean room and toilet. You need 15-20 minutes by foot to the Unawatuna beach. They have a fen on the sealing and a mosquito net over every bed."

"Before booking check with the owner about the number of people in the room, photos are not accurate. We planned trip for 4 people and on the photos of accommodation it looked like we would need two bedrooms. When we came, each room had two double beds which means we could’ve easily booked only one room for all of us."

"The owners were lovely, very friendly and helpful! Everything in the room was as expected, it was a large single room with a clean and working bathroom (I didn't try the hot water)."

"There was no indication of breakfast being provided, either when I arrived or any of the mornings. The location is also okay (shops very close), but there are definitely closer options to the beach."

"Great facilities and amazing value. Rooms are big and super clean. Family running the place are super friendly and helpful. Locations is great in a quiet street very close to train station and main road but without traffic or road noise. Wifi strong"

"Owner and his family were very welcoming and helpful. There was a mosquito net and very good fan. Guesthouse is located close to shop, restaurant and a bus stop which is very convenient. During the evening walk to our house we were lucky to see fireflies. Everything was perfect! Fair price for the value!"

"We stayed for one night, but we wish we could have stayed for a couple more. The room/small cabin was sooo cute! With a shower that had an open roof. We loved that the cabin was wooden, so it had none of that damp smell you get sometimes. The room was fresh and airy and the shower pressure was amazing! The place was tranquil and so picturesque. The beach was also close, so that was a nice bonus."

The room was clean, spacious and equipped with everything we needed. Great location, 3 minutes walk from the beach."

"The ambience of this small heritage hotel and the very helpful management and staff were wonderful. The manager even helped us to get to a hospital for some medical assistance. He spent a good couple of hours with us to approach the right expert. Rooms were cleaned every day and sheets changed whenever required. The closeness of the town, the bus stand and the railway station made it very convenient to get around. Some nice eating places were also close by. Jaffna and the hospitality and friendliness of the people will be remembered. So will be the comfortable five-night stay in Old Park Villa."

"This is a lovely place to stay. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable, with an attractive balcony, in a peaceful area. It was a bus ride away from Galle Fort , it’s a short walk to the bus stop and buses come frequently . The couple who run it were kind and very helpful. Breakfasts were good and ample.
