"Great location and the scenery was beautiful. Very nice and peaceful atmosphere. Located on hill tops and the views were amazing! Perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature. Surrounded by trees and was entertained by monkeys swinging through the branches. The rooms were also very spacious and allowed a comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient and meals were delivered to the room. Staff were very accommodating and overall had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay."

"Beautiful cottage that I mostly had to myself. There was access to the kitchen, television, and the yard. The host was a lovely man and very kind and helpful. He was also so relaxed about everything. I had the option to use a pool at another hotel as well which was great. I also appreciated the well wishes messages from the host and his staff member when I departed."

"Breakfast was fine - just remember to inform the owner the day before if you require breakfast. Ingrid, the co-owner, is a lovely woman and a fine, traditional cook. You will never leave the table hungry! Whilst she can offer beer at an extra cost, we tended to buy our own along with wine to drink at dinner. Again, you will need to inform Ingrid on the day if you require dinner later. There is no choice; me and my wife are both omnivores with no allergies or intollerances, and always liked what she prepared! Our lodge was spacious with a generous deck overlooking the beautiful gardens, and the sea in the background."

A small fridge in our lodge would have been a great bonus - however, we were free to use Ingrid's fridge. The shower was also a little on the dribbly side!

"Everything was perfect. The place was just so beautiful. Very modern and clean. I loved the interior design a lot. The kitchen was full equipped and they gave us towels for the beach as well. The distance to the city center and the beaches were no longer than 25 min. Ana and her daughter were super kind and very nice. They even let us store our language because we had a flight in the afternoon. We could have used the shower as well. All in all we loved our stay and hope to come back again 😊"

Only thing that was missing was a place to dry the clothes (for example a drying rack). Besides that there was absolutely nothing negative!

Pool was freezing in August. Covering at night would probably be enough. Food mediocre and breakfast choices disappointing. Price difference on rooms isn’t justified. They are all identical just the views are different.

"Staff went above and beyond to make our stay for my birthday a wonderful experience. Hotel was in the perfect location for ease of access to the train station and the town itself. Amenities were clean and room was spacious."

Overall the decor and energy of the hotel felt a bit dated but not a massive complaint that would stop me from booking again in the future as there was more positives to outweigh the aesthetic.

The location was a bit tricky to find at first, but once there, everything went smoothly. The host was very friendly and welcoming. She gave a helpful introduction to the facilities, including the cabin itself, the kitchen, and the shower area. The small cabin was cozy and pleasant, and the kitchen and sauna/shower located in an old outbuilding were also perfectly adequate for my needs. Overall, a nice and practical accommodation option in a quiet setting."

"The room was beautiful opening up to a sea view. Could go kayaking from just outside the room. The lodge had kayaks and life jackets available to guests. Could also go fishing or swimming - just idyllic! The staff were also really helpful. I would most definitely stay here again."

"Location is perfect- 300m from the tarred A4 main road. 15 min drive to the Sehlabathebe Nature Reserve. Nestled between the Maloti/Ukhahlamba and Tsoelikana River. An absolute beauty"

The food. They are unprepared for people who do not eat meat. The love of salt by Basotho is above average

"The room was comfortable, there was a microwave, electric heating and a kettle so we could make our own food. We needed batteries for the air condition (it was cold), they delivered very fast. Thanks!"

Malheureusement été déçus par le jacuzzi qui ne fonctionnait pas. C'est le point qui nous a le plus dérangés et qui a gâché le séjour car j'ai payé un supplément pour profiter de cette option avec mes enfants cela devait être une surprise. Je tiens tout de même à remercier le membre du personnel qui a tenté de faire une réparation. Malgré ses efforts et sa bonne volonté, le problème n'a pas pu être résolu. C'est dommage de ne pas avoir pu en profiter durant notre séjour.

"Fantastic location. Great facilities and will be even better shortly with new tents under construction. Excellent meals and extremely friendly and helpful hosts. Take the food and day trip offerings- you won't regret it but stay at least 2 nights to really enjoy the location."
