"The hotel was priced well as the new owners are going to do a refurb later in the year. The location was superb as you could walk down the back streets to some good bars and a local quality Chinese restaurant. Staff were very friendly and breakfast more than ample."

"The hotel is furnished simply and is quite empty in parts. There is scope for putting in more furniture and paintings to make it warmer. It's a three-star hotel, like most of the hotels in the old town. If you want luxury and good facilities, probably best to go for a modern four-star but these are perhaps in the modern part of town."

"The manager was exceptional, we only stayed for one night, but he was very helpful as we travelled on bicycles, and there were eleven of us. Our room was clean and roomy, although a bit worn-looking. There was a large separate bathroom with a separate shower and bath. Breakfast was cheap and plentiful and served promptly."
