"Very nice welcome and informative check in by Karin. We were offered a complimentary drink which was very welcome after a long drive. The room was very clean and cool due to the thick walls so even though it was well over 25 degrees at night there was no need to even have the fan on. Bed also very comfortable."
"Would have liked to be able to have an early morning swim but this was unfortunately not possible as they said they would be cleaning the pool. At breakfast just keeping the milk cold in a cooler could be nice."

"The Hours is very big and quiet. The rooms are quite big and very comfortable. Outside there a nice area where you can sit and relax and a swimming pool you can use. Everything is open and usable by the people that are staying. Since there only a few rooms, it’s like being at home. If you need things for the beach, you’ll find them there. There are umbrellas, chairs, mini surfboard etc The hosts are wonderful. We had some problems with the car and got there very late for the check in, and Karin was there to wait for us. Every morning there’s a nice breakfast, with fresh juice and homemade jam."

"Wonderful hosts providing superb B&B accomodation in a tastefully renovated country farmhouse in an idyllic Portuguese countryside setting. This was the first stop on our 2 week Portuguese holiday and we would have been happy to stay longer. Karen was so friendly and provided great suggestions for restaurants and activities in the area. The breakfast was more than enough and yum. The freshly squeezed juice from local oranges and homemade marmalade were wonderful treats. The pool provided a perfect way to cool off and relax after exploring Silves, only a few kilometres away, or visiting the beaches of the Algarve. This was perfect accommodation for us, a couple looking for comfortable, quiet accommodation to relax in, after busy days exploring."
"The unsealed country lane from the road to the farmhouse is a bit rough the first time you drive it, but you get used to it. I guess that is part of the full country experience."

"Wonderful peaceful and secluded base for exploring the area. The owners are very much involved with the day to day running of the place which is a big bonus as they are lovely. Room was comfortable and the place is spotlessly clean."
"Never understand why guests think it's ok to hog and take ownership of the same sun loungers day after day and don't have any awareness that other people might want to have an opportunity to use them. Creatures of habit?!"
