"Within old city wall I min walk to one of the minaret Restaurant in front of hotel Very kind staff- family run business. Typical uzbek style floor seating breakfast ( more of a continental menu ) No shoes inside the hotel ( which i really like)"

"Doppi guest house has a very good location inside Old Khiva Walls in a quiet street, but very close to all tourist attractions. Restaurants and s small shop are nearby. Owners keep property very clean. Breakfast prepared by owners is big and offers a good variety of different foods. Accommodation offers transport from Urgench airport and from/to other locations, which is very convenient, although transport is a bit pricy."

"Bed feels hard and may be difficult to sleep, if you are not used to hard mattress. You can hear every conversation from the neighboring room (poor insulation). Although bathroom is clean, there is a bad smell that comes from sink holes, so there should be something done to improve this, if possible."

"simple and very clean, location is inside the city wall, close to everything, breakfast was incredible, Host family was always helpful"

"We spent two nights in separate rooms, both of which were clean and equipped with baths. The air conditioning worked well. What I appreciated most was the location: situated inside the fortress and close to the south gate, it provided easy access to all the nearby attractions. There is free parking available right in front of the hotel. If you don’t plan to visit the Aral Sea or other nearby fortresses, one day is more than enough to explore Khiva."

"Overall, the stay was good. The breakfast offered a typical selection found in accommodations across the country, including eggs, melon, cheese, beef, and sweets. However, they did not provide water. If you're arriving by car, be aware that Google Maps may not be fully updated. Many roads leading into the fortress were closed, so you might need to circle the entire fortress to find an entrance. Given the narrow streets, it’s best to use the closest gate to enter the fortress."
