"Staff helpful & friendly Location good: short walk to town, bars, restaurants close by & bus stop outside of the hotel. View from balcony of the mountains was beautiful. Rooms clean and comfortable. We were out of season, so restaurant wasn't open which was a shame. It looked nice. Very much enjoyed our stay. Thank you!"

Parking is very tight. The water drainage (room 11) in the shower flows the wrong way so it can be tricky to avoid flooding the place. Since there is no water mixer, it takes time to get the water temperature correct. Turning the water off and back on because of poor drainage is not ideal for a 4 night stay in luxury accommodation.

"Accommodations are simple but very comfortable. Nice swimming pool right out the hotel room door. Short walk to the water. We really enjoyed diving. My 18yr old son got PADI certified. They did an awesome job with him. Nassar was his instructor. He was awesome! Area was very safe."

No complaints. Please understand that tourism is severely impacted by the Gazan war. Many hotels and restaurants are closed and those that are open often are operating in a limited capacity. For example hotel restaurants might not operate at all. This affects all hotels. There were almost no tourists as of November 2025.

The lighting outside the room, in the halls, was not dimmed during the night. The rooms have coloured glass windows/ doors so was difficult for sleeping during the night.

"Everything was at an excellent level. The hospitality of the hosts, the food in their restaurant, the view from the apartment, the heating during the winter period, and the location. We will definitely come back again."

I loved my room, the beach, the food… honestly, everything. A special mention to Rudi at the breakfast restaurant — she was truly lovely and made my morning better with the delicious mimosa she prepared for me. I ended up extending my stay by one more night, and the team helped me move everything seamlessly to my new room. Since it was raining and I was leaving that day, they even proactively offered to put some of my clothes in the dryer because they had been hanging outside, which was such a thoughtful touch. I can’t wait to go back. Waking up to those views is something I’ll never forget — everything was just perfect."

The room was on the ground floor opening right into the courtyard where they serve breakfast. So it was noisy (after 9 am I could not sleep), and it was not possible to open the windows to get a bit of natural light or air because of the privacy. The shower was with an open ceiling and didn't have any ventilation. Also, the wall between the bathroom and the room was not full height so after taking shower the steam was going into the whole room. We even asked for another room but there was no reception, only a person (as a security I guess) who said I don't know. He did not even know English and the communication was through Google Translate.

Une erreur des clé du portail principal alors fallait à chaque entrée devoir frapper pendant de longues minutes le gardien de nuit sachant cela m'a laissé sortir je lui ai dit je revenais tard a mon arrivée je suis resté 45 minutes dehors à frappé grâce au groupe d'échange avec le client j'ai écris la gérante très déranger du soucis ma rassuré qu'elle fait tout son possible pour joindre le gardien celui ci arrivée 30 minutes plutard même pas s'excuser Et aussi avoir plus de chaîne à la télé j'ai été obligé de regarder France 24 durant tout mon séjour

"I’ve traveled 30s countries and by far this is one of the most wonderful heavenly home stay I ever had. We had an early check in with no extra fee and the host was super nice with us. The garden is absolutely stunning we all love it so much. Dogs and cats and birds around and all very friendly, we enjoy their accompany a lot. Breakfast is also a highlight, various choices, huge portion. I can not finish at all 😂 Also I’m very much a bon fire person. They lit up fire place everywhere in the house. I really adore that ❤️"

"The place is nicely decorated, very tidy and in a quiet safe area but little far from the sea. For people which like waliking like me is ok. Also can rent bike for free. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok and you could also order some food for lunch at a good price. Manja is an excellent cook and prepares local specialties. Internet was mostly ok. The pool was clean and a very relaxing place to spend time."

Sometimes a problem with taxis. Some of them don't know this place. You have to negotiate the price which can be very diffrent. (from 100 to 500 dalasies).

"Super friendly staff, Natalija met us at the ferry to take us to Villa Nora Hvar and gave recommendations for what to do and how to get around. The room was spacious and the location was very central."

"The host, Andrae was super friendly and helpful, I was able to check in a bit late, he also organised an early morning taxi for me to get to the airport. The location is great, right in the middle of Philipsburg and just minutes walk from the beach. You're surrounded by restaurants and shops. Price was excellent."

Room and amenities are simple, but for this price and location you can't complain.

"The house is beautiful. It’s in front of the river with beautiful views, rooms are great , beds comfortable and walking distance to restaurants, etc otherwise you get Yandex which is ridiculously cheap. The lady who runs guest house it’s very nice and helps."

It was very noisy until quite late night from other guest, there are signs to be quiet after 10pm but they ignored it, I complained and I was moved to a quieter room. Apart from that all good.

"Good location near the main street with bus stop and supermarkets and restaurants. Room is clean and bathroom is newly renovated. Although the room is next to a main street there was no traffic noise. Great with parking included and breakfast included. Good with some cookies and dried wasa bread and coffee is available all day."

The wardrobe in the room was broken, the door cannot be opened. A towel for the floor in the bathroom was missing. The breakfast is a simple business breakfast and not a holiday breakfast buffet. Stairs to come to your room. So if you have luggage it is a bit trouble.

"The kindness of Elen and John was above and beyond what you could ever expect . Elen made us an excellent dinner . She also let us keep our room through the next day so that we had somewhere to return to to shower after a day out ( our flight home was in the evening) . These are good people."

There was nothing we didn't like.

"Friendly owner, clean place, comfortable bed, basic kitchen appliances in the room, as well as in the shared kitchen. Nice little outside seating areas. Quiet location, walking distance to the ferry. You can also rent a car from the owner should you need one."

Not much space in the room to move around, the on suite bathroom was a bit uncomfortable (really just a lil plastic box in the room, kinda see thru and if you wanna take a shower, everything gets wet and the room gets humid) so we opted for the shared bathroom in the hallway. The fan in the shared kitchen didn't work and there aren't many plates/bowls etc.

"We got our room on the ground floor with a nice garden view. There are chairs in front of the room that we can use to enjoy afternoon sun and the garden. Good breakfast, sufficient choices, fresh and tasty. About 10 minutes drive to the nearby beaches, supermarket"

"The room and the whole atmosphere/service felt more like a classical hotel than a hostel, so the price was more than fair. The staff are extremely engaged in making their guests feel comfortable and they even organized fresh glutenfree bread for breakfast. The location is a little off in Zona 10, but everything needed is within reach by foot and/or taxi."

My room had a desk, which accommodated electric plugs, but there were none beside the bed. When the window was not open, the air got a little stuffy, presumably from the included bathroom.

"For self catering facilities it is peefect, quiet and have laundry and ao forth included which is reàlly nice... the agent is very reasonable and always there to answer any questions or any concerns... I highly recommend 👌"

If bed mats to be place on both side of the bed and infront the dresser ... but others the property is well equipped.

"Nice spot on the edge of town, with a great view from my private balcony. Breakfast was included and was very tasty. The proprietor was kind and helped me several times with questions and requests."

The room was very simple and the mattress was hard as a rock, but overall not bad at all.
