"There is nothing quite like this amazing experience. Completely alone in the desert in a beautifully designed, spacious tent. The setup is stylish and comfortable, and waking up to nothing but sand dunes in every direction is pretty hard to beat. Meals are driven out to you across the desert, with camels and goats wandering over to say hello, sunrise from the bed. At night, you can see a sky full of stars. It was truly magical"

"New, comfortable room with private bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Shared fully equipped kitchen. Good internet. Quiet in a safe district. 15 min in the bus number 10 or 12 to the city center. Alice, the owner who lives there, is very nice and helpful. She booked a taxi for us and woke up at 5.30a.m. to be sure that the taxi arrived. Excellent quality for a good price."

It is number 1 on the intercom when you arrive there. it is not written Conforto.

The proximity and the 180-degree view of the sea, the unmatched decor items, fairy lights and stellar interior planning, the very small-but-important facility and comfort details that have been considered, the quaint and romantic area around the dome, the considerate and responsive hosts all come together to make this a true gem here in Latvia. It feels like the place is kept beautiful and tidy out of genuine care for the wellbeing and pleasure of the guests. The hot tub costs extra, but a hot tub with a direct view of the sea is another rarirty here that is well worth the money. Absolutely recommended without hesitation, and I wish the hosts the endurance to keep this up, as we will 100% be looking to come back to this corner of paradise!"

To be nitpicky, the tap water seems to have high iron content, hence some water discoloration and odor. Nevertheless, there is extra drinkable water provided so this is not an issue really.

"A small cabin in the woods, crown lands around allowing you to walk or hunt, no electricity, no phone network. A wood stove and candles. What's not to like?"

The road to get there is hard if you have a sedan especially after a snow storm.

"This is a great example how a passionate and lovely host turns a simple but beautiful accomodation into a five star place, in harmony with the surrounding nature. We loved every moment here and definitely want to come back."

Nothing much , staff that worked in the office could have been friendlier, like greet and show a interest when you come for breakfast, but not much more to mention . Great stay

Too many flies specially when we tried to have the canopes at sunset. Perhaps at the parking spot where pick ups, drop offs are made, have a little shed with a couple of chairs so people could sit down while they wait to be picked up cos we came in a cab and sometimes, the driver may have another hire so he has to drop us and go off. Also, do advise guests to bring a sweater as it gets chilly at night. We did have one but only cos a colleague of mine who had been to a desert camp b4 recommended it.
