"The room was clean & spacious. All shared kitchen and washrooms were large with sufficient supplies."

"Room and bathroom were clean and spacious. There was a small sink and mirror in the room which was nice. Kitchen had all we needed (kettle, cooktop, cutlery, pots and pans). Staff was super nice, no problems with checking in/out. I would come back here again."

"We asked for double bed, but we got a room with 2 single beds on different ends of the room."

"I really enjoyed my stay here. The place was clean, comfortable, and cozy. The location is peaceful with beautiful surroundings, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Everything felt warm and welcoming."

"Very clean, easy access. Nice size room. Excellent restaurant nearby at the hotel. One main course between us was plenty of food."

"Bed a bit on the soft side. A chair on the room would be very useful. If you are on the larger size it would not be comfortable. ."

"The staff is very nice and informative. Rooms are clean, well-equipped, and cosy. Beds are very comfy, and showers are modern and strong. Very quiet setting and beautiful village. One can enjoy jumping on their trampoline and visit a nearby hot thermal bathing spot (just by the road)."

"The kitchen is not enough for all occupants. Maybe a few bigger tables, a bigger fridge, and some more shelves would change that."

"We’ve just returned from a week-long stay at The Black Pearl. We've stayed here several times over the years because the location is excellent, and we have always had a wonderful experience. The reception staff are fantastic and were always very helpful during our stay. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable, with a large bed and a great shower in the bathroom. Housekeeping cleaned the room to a very high standard each day. The location in the Old Harbour area is ideal for exploring the city, with many great restaurants, cafés and sights all within easy walking distance. I always recommend The Black Pearl to anyone visiting Reykjavík and we look forward to staying there again."
