"We had a very pleasant stay. The accommodation had everything we needed and the location was great. The hot tub was a perfect way to end the day after exploring, especially with the beautiful sunset view. We were also lucky to see an amazing northern lights display directly from the bungalow, which made the experience even more special. We would definitely recommend this place."

"The owner and staff were extremely nice! I needed a lift and the owner of the hotel gave me a ride. 🚘 Icelandic people are so helpful. ♥️ Room is very comfortable plus you get a good view and free to use their hot tub and sauna! If only i can give 100 stars, i would. ⭐️ Thank you! 🫶"

"My third stay in this cozy hotel and definatly not my last. Rooms are fine and clean. Check-in was easy, even when there nobody at the reception. The hotel is simple and has a nice atmosphere. Don't expect luxury or a brand new place. I really like thus hotel because it fits perfectly in a roadtrip around Iceland. From Borgarnes you can easy do Snaefelsness in one day or visit Grabrok in Bifröst. Breakfast is not included, but there is a great Kaffeehus in Borgarnes with a great view on the mountains. Diner is not possible at the hotel, but nearby the kaffehus there is a burger place."

"We got an upgraded room and there was the bonus of free coffee and breakfast snacks. It was easy to locate and late check in was agreed easily. Great location to explore the West coast"

"Big comfortable room, nice common facilities like the sauna and hottub. There's a good sized food hall where you can heat up and eat your own food for lunch and dinner. The location is beautiful and a very short drive from Borgarnes where you have all the services you'll need."

"The hottub and sauna area is missing a shower. Also the water pressure in the shower in the hotel room was pretty low."

"We had a very comfortable little cabin which was like a studio flat, with comfortable bed, lounge, small table and chairs and a kitchenette, with ensuite bathroom. It would be a great place to self cater."

"As a coeliac, and having advised the property in advance that I would like gluten free options for breakfast, I was a little disappointed at the lack of gf bread."

"A cosy little apartment, with wonderful water views, and comfy bed. Small kitchenette was enough to prepare a simple pasta meal. The shower had great pressure. Modern, classic decor - gave it a luxe appearance."

"It was a little outside of Borgarnes, but with the self-catering in our little bungalow, that wasn't an issue (you drive past the Bonus store to get here). The heating was a stand alone radiator heater, it took the edge of the room which was fine for when we were visiting, but we did wonder if it would keep the whole bungalow warm over winter."

"The room overall was good, clean and had everything we needed do the stay, but the beds we’re a little to hard and we felt there wasn’t good enough airflow, even though the window was wide open."
