"Well located for the main sights. 12 - 15 minute walk to the Hallgrimsonkirkja. Lovely set breakfast ( ham, cheese, granola, yoghurt, brown bread, boiled egg, tea/coffee). Very helpful staff. Good sized double room. Good value for Reykjavik."

"Hotel Phoenix is at a terrific location, a small walking distance (or bus transfer) from the best sites in Reykjavik! I didn't have to go very far and the hotel staff gave good advice on restaurants and sightseeing. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat!"

"The hotel feels very homely, and the hosts truly made me feel very welcome. They provided me with all kinds of information about Iceland, along with advice on excursions, transport, and even what time I should arrive at the airport to avoid being late for my flight (and it was an excellent advice as I understood after coming to the airport!). The breakfast was always fresh and delicious, and the room facilities were perfect and thoughtfully arranged. I’m sincerely happy that I chose this hotel for my stay in Reykjavik."

"Loved the view and the big bed was amazing. Everything you need in the kitchen. And I was warmly welcomed with a piece of very delicious cake.
