"We were charged 19%VAT even we are foreigners. As they only received CPL currency for payment. That was something they did not mention to us when they confirm our booking with sending us some information. It was a bit unpleasant. However, for everything, I mean services and cleanliness in the Hostal, we are satisfied. Please be considered if you are foreigners and there is 19% VAT will be charged when you reserve the hotel"

"The central location and rooms, I stayed twice in Room #1 & #5. The hostal has a gated access to the front door which is very secure. For those with a vehicle there is gated off-road parking for approx. 4 cars. Lovely communal area with continuous hot water supply, tea and coffee, and a sheltered balcony to watch the sunset from. Philip (my spelling) works the front desk and speaks good English. He is super helpful! I came back after 5 days backpacking from the Cerro Castillo NP traverse. They had securely held my extra baggage and then allowed me to use the car park to dry and clean my tent. Absolutely brilliant!"

"Ya me había quedado acá así que conocía el lugar. Lo escogí la segunda vez por el buen desayuno que tiene y por la comodidad de la habitación. La primera vez fui en febrero y por ser temporada alta, habían pocas habitaciones, la segunda vez tuvimos la oportunidad de escogerla así que fue muy bueno. La segunda vez la calidad del desayuno bajó un poco pero seguía siendo bueno. No es un desayuno buffet, hay algunos elementos a libre disposición como café, cereales y jugos. El pan, huevos y embutidos los ponen en la mesa de acuerdo a la calidad de comensales."

"Hay habitaciones que tienen una ventana del baño interna que da a los pasillos de otras habitaciones por lo tanto se puede ver cuando te bañas o te pueden ver. Son ventanas altas así que mucho no se ve, pero al menos la cara si. El recepcionista hombre que había, muy desagradable, antes me había tocado una señora muy simpática y justo eso fue lo que ayudó a volver. No indican en Booking que hay estacionamiento, así que tuvimos que buscar uno externo, sin embargo al llegar si había pero indicaron que no lo informaban por que a veces no tenían espacios."
